PERENCANAAN PENJADWALAN PRODUKSI TAHU BULAT DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE MATERIAL REQUIREMENT PLANNING (MRP) PADA IKM WINDO JAYA DI TASIKMALAYA

Abstract

IKM Windo Jaya is a small and medium industry of round tofu producers. This company has customers from various regions or cities. Among others, the regency or city of Tasikmalaya, the city of Garut, Cianjur and Bekasi. The types of products that are produced in this IKM namely only know round with two types of shapes namely round and oval. So that the production of Round Tofu is completed on time and in accordance with consumer demand, the company needs to optimize again in the production scheduling system. The problem that often occurs is that employee performance is not in accordance with a predetermined schedule. Not a few employees who often come late to work and relax when time works, and it hinders time for the amount of production that has been determined. The problem that is solved in this study is how to Plan the Scheduling of Round Tofu Production Using the Material Requirement Planning (MRP) Method at Windo Jaya IKM in Tasikmalaya. Based on the results of the study, the results obtained from calculations using the MRP method amount of production output reached 78-102 units, with a saving time of 3,920-52,332 minutes or about 65-872 hours per day. Based on the result, the IKM not need to worry about the lack of satisfactory service to consumers when there are sudden orders, because there are known differences with the results according to the scheduling applied in the company.
