ANALISIS TUNDAAN DAN PANJANG ANTRIAN AKIBAT PENUTUPAN PALANG PINTU KERETA API DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN METODE GREENSHIELD DAN SHOCKWAVE (STUDI KASUS JALAN MOHAMMAD HATTA KOTA TASIKMALAYA)
Abstrak
This research was conducted to analyze the delay and queue length of vehicles due to the closure of the railway crossing door on Jalan Mohammad Hatta Tasikmalaya City, The problem that occurs is that if the volume of vehicles approaching the track is so large it will cause delays and queue lengths that are quite problematic. At that time, it creates a disturbance in the transportation system that will cause congestion problems or a state of stalled or even stopped traffic caused by the number of vehicles exceeding road capacity.
This study aims to determine the value of delay and the length of the largest queue that occurs due to the closure of the railroad crossing and determine the relationship between volume, speed and density due to the closure of the railroad crossing at the research location. After the data is collected, the next analysis is carried out with the greenshiled method to calculate the relationship between volume, speed, traffic density, and the shockwave method to calculate the value of delay and queue length due to the closure of the train doorstop.
From the results of the study obtained the largest value of delay and queue length (Qm) occurred on Monday in the direction of Ciamis - Simpang Lima at 11.07 amounting to 0.21 km with the duration of closing the doorstop for 198 seconds and delay (Stopped delay) for 263.4 seconds. The time required to release the queue (tb) is 52.8 seconds. The relationship between volume, speed, and density due to the closure of the railroad crossing on the road section Jl.Mohammad Hatta Tasikmalaya City at peak volume. By using the greenshield model which produces a coefficient of determination. Then it can be obtained (Us - k, y = -0.28x + 33.11, R² = 1), (q - k, y = 8x + 559, R² = 1), (Us - q, y = -0.0347x + 52.572, R² = 1). The value of the relationship between the three variables is declared strong by obtaining (0.999 - 1), so it can be concluded that the value of the relationship is very strong.
