Abstrak

Sadananya – Gunungsari road  is an access to the natural tourism of the Ngampar Rocks so that there is an increase in traffic volume. This has an impact on road conditions, seen in the lapen road surface layer there are moderate cracks, and some deformation on the wheel track (60% condition). There is a need to increase the thickness of the overlay layer as an effort to make the road more efficient and effective so that the function of the road is maintained as it should be and can continue to be used by the community safely and comfortably. The research objective was to determine the average daily traffic and soil carrying capacity on the Sadananya - Gunungsari Road section, and to determine the overlay thickness on the Sadananya - Gunungsari Road section. In planning the added layer thickness (overlay) on the Sadananya - Gunungsari Road section, Ciamis Regency, the Component Analysis method was used on "Designs for Highway Flexible Pavement Thickness Planning" SKBI 2.3.26.1987. The highest average daily traffic research results were 1,644 vehicles/day and the soil carrying capacity in segment 1 was 4.72, segment 2 was 4.94 and segment 3 was 5.18. The layer thickness added (overlay) on Jalan Sadananya – Gunungsari Ciamis Regency based on DDT segment 1 (4.72) is 2,4 cm, the layer thickness based on DDT segment 2 (4.94) is 2,3 cm, and the layer thickness added based on DDT segment 3 (5.18) is 1,6 cm. For planning the third segment using a type of pavement material in the form of Laston MS 590 Asphalt Concrete – Wearing Course (AC – WC).
