A house is one of the basic needs for humans (primary). An efficient structural system largely determines the construction budget of a residential house. The thing that must be done in emphasizing construction costs is the use of materials, especially for efficient structural elements, building of 3-story residential houses in this study planning structural elements based on the experience of consultants. Therefore, it will be reanalyzed for the structural elements of the residential building in accordance with the basic principles of the structure. The basic principles of the structure include the strength of structural elements to withstand the loads that arise, the stability of the building in resisting lateral forces from outside such as wind, earthquakes, or the earth's gravitational and balance in overcoming the gravitational force of the earth and wind. The final results of this study will be compared with structural elements in the existing structural elements of 3-storey residential buildings. The redesign of the 3-story residential structure carried out is the plate structure (roof plate, floor plate and stair plate), beam structure, column structure and foundation structure. This research refers to the Loading Planning Guidelines for Houses and Buildings (SKBI-1.3.53.1987), SNI 2847:2019, SNI 1726:2019. As well as assisted by software SAP2000. The beam structure and existing foundation structure cannot be qualified to withstand the service load that occurs in a 3-story residential building so that the analysis beam results are known to be able to withstand all service loads that occur, while for column structures, floor plates, roof plates and existing stair plates can withstand all service loads that occur in the 3-story residential building.
