Abstrak

Road Kopo Bihbul, Bandung Regency, is an industrial area where along this road there is a factory that causes congestion and side obstacles due to the activities of factory employees when entering and leaving work and during breaks. In addition, the presence of temporary stop vehicles, vehicles in and out of factories, street vendors and pedestrian activities, affects the smooth flow of traffic so that it has an impact on the performance of road sections. The purpose of the study is toknow the traffic olume, free flow speed, Kopo Bihbul road capacity of Bandung Regency. As well asknowing the performance of the Kopo Bihbul road section, Bandung Regency and alternative service level improvements.

The method used in this study is the survey method, namely by making direct observations to the research location to obtain data as a reference for conducting analysis. The results showed that the traffic volume on the Kopo Bihbul road in Bandung Regency was quite high where the highest value was 2950 smp / hour, free flow speed of 40.93 km / hour, capacity of 2905.92 smp / hour.  The performance of Kopo Bihbul Bandung Regency is at level D (saturation degree 0.83) and alternative improvements by providing signs are prohibited from stopping and removing side obstacles for parking / stopping vehicles and vehicles in and out of the area with service levels at level C (saturation level 0.68).
