Analisis Kinerja Lalu Lintas Pada Ruas Jalan Residen Ardiwinangun Kecamatan Mangkubumi Kota Tasikmalaya

Abstrak

Transportation is a very important and strategic tool in accelerating the wheels of the economy, strengthening unity and integrity and affecting all aspects of national and state life. Ardiwinangun Resident Street, Mangkubumi District, Tasikmalaya City is a road section that has considerable activity due to market activity. Cikurubuk Market activities cause many traffic problems such as congestion that occurs during rush hours. This congestion occurs due to the many vehicles that stop along the shoulder of the market road, the activities of street vendors selling on the side of the road, and pedestrians passing by. The purpose of this study is to determine traffic performance on the Residential road section of Ardiwinangun, Mangkubumi District, Tasikmalaya City. The method used in this study is the method of literature and observation. The results of the analysis obtained after conducting research, the highest traffic volume occurred on Monday, July 10 2023. Peak hours occur in the afternoon, namely 16:00 – 17:00 WIB with a total number of vehicles of 4526 vehicles/hour or 2423 pcu /O'clock. The capacity value for a total of 2 directions is 3140 pcu/hour and the free flow speed of vehicles due to side barriers in the area that has been reviewed is 43.32 km/hour. The highest Degree of Saturation (DS) value is 0.77.
