Abstrak

Irrigation is an effort to supply and regulate water to support the needs of the community. The Banjar City Government has until now built irrigation facilities and infrastructure, both the construction of new irrigation and rehabilitation in order to support the planned food security program. The irrigation canal in the Bantarheulang irrigation area suffered some damage in the dindin and shypon parts that leaked, so that the irrigation could not work optimally. Therefore, an analysis of the channel capacity must be carried out, to obtain the ideal dimensions for the bantarheulang irrigation conduder channel. The purpose of this thesis is about rainfall analysis, calculation of planned flood discharge, dimensions of irrigation canals, in this thesis to conduct the Chi-Squared Test and the Smirnov-Kolmogrov Test from the results of the calculation of the suitability of the method used is the gumbel method Because the amount of rainfall is larger and represents for Xmax values (0.281) < Xcritical (0.41) than others so that the design made can hold more water, so if there is Large rainfall channels can hold the water, as well as analyze the flow discharge, so that the irrigation canal remains optimal, based on the parameters obtained. Next is identifying irrigation canals, calculating rainfall intensity, determining flood discharge, and finally designing channel dimensions for the area.Research conducted with a land area of 67 Ha obtained the value of rain intensity on the 50-year birthday of 341,619 m^3 / second, flood discharge of the 50-year anniversary plan obtained 5,357 m / second and the design of channel dimensions were (h) = 2 m, (b) = 3 m, (wf) = 0.99 m, (m) = 1 m.
