Abstrak

It is often found that projects experience delays in completion in their implementation in the field. Project control is indispensable because it affects the success of a project. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the control of time and cost in the Ampera Bridge Construction Project, Banjaranyar District, Ciamis Regency using the Earned Value Management method. This method analyzes time and cost deviations through Cost Variance and Schedule Variance.  To assess the efficiency of resource use using the Cost Performance Index and Schedule Performance Index, and to analyze estimated costs and project completion times through ETC and EAC, as well as ETS and EAS.

The results show that the schedule performance index value shows the average value of SPI >1, indicating that the project is running faster than the planned schedule, while the cost performance index CPI = 1 indicates the cost usage according to the budget. The project was successfully completed 100% 2 weeks ahead of schedule. The ETC value obtained in the 19th week is zero (0) which means that the cost budget has been exhausted and the work has been completed. The EAC value obtained is the same as the ACWP value, which is Rp 10,635,880,000.00 which shows that the project is running according to the cost plan and schedule. Although there are some delays in certain weeks, this case study shows that EVM is an effective method to control the time and cost of construction projects.
