Abstrak

The implementation of project development must be planned as well as possible, both in terms of time and cost to achieve maximum results. Time and cost have a significant influence on project success and failure. To measure project success, it is usually seen from the completion time and minimum costs without reducing quality. Al-Mukhtar Integrated Islamic Middle School Revitalization Development Project, Sariwangi District. It is indicated that Tasikmalaya is experiencing delays in the implementation process. The aim of this research is to determine the optimal time and costs resulting from accelerating working hours (overtime) using the Crash Duration method and, alternatively, adding 2 hours of working hours (overtime) to jobs that are on the critical path. Data analysis in this research uses Microsoft Project 2013 to determine the critical path. Based on the results of the calculation analysis with the addition of 2 working hours (overtime) resulting in an optimal time of 142 working days with a normal duration of 150 days, an acceleration of 8 working days is obtained with a project time efficiency of 5.3% and a cost reduction of 0.65% or Rp. 4,538,177.00 from the normal cost of Rp. 700,531,800.00 to Rp. 695,993,629.00.
