Abstrak

Roads are the most widely used land transportation infrastructure by the public for daily mobility compared to water and air transportation, so the volume of vehicles passing through the road section must be supported by the appropriate road geometry on the road section it passes.

This study aims to plan the geometric design of the road section and determine the horizontal and vertical alignment of the Wiriadinata Tasikmalaya Airport access road section. The method used in this study is the quantitative method (direct survey method) to calculate data accurately in the field to obtain primary and secondary data using the 1997 Intercity Road Geometric Planning Procedures and the 2011 AASHTO reference.

The geometric design of the Wiriadinata Tasikmalaya Airport access road section has a planned speed of 60 km / hour with a road length of 1,022.11 m, a class 1 collector road function, and a 4/2 - T road type (4 lanes 2 lanes). The horizontal alignment of the access road section of Wiriadinata Tasikmalaya Airport produces 3 bends and the vertical alignment of the access road section of Wiriadinata Tasikmalaya Airport produces 3 concave curves.
