An intersection is an area where two or more road branches meet or cross and require supporting facilities for traffic movement. Intersections are also places where traffic conflicts occur. The research location is the non-signalized Simpang Empat Jalan Cisaranten Kulon, Arcamanik District, Bandung City. The aim of this research is to determine traffic volume and intersection performance.
The method used is the Indonesian Road Capacity Guide method (PКЛ 2023). By conducting field surveys to produce data on average daily traffic volume (LHR). To find out the capacity calculation values, degree of saturation, delays and queuing opportunities
The results of calculations at the non-signalized intersection of Jalan Cisaranten Kulon, Arcamanik District, Bandung City show that the busiest traffic volume occurred on Thursday 30 May 2024 at 16.30 - 17.30 with a number of vehicles of 1998 pcu per hour with an intersection capacity value of 3272.69 pcu/hour, the width of the intersection approach 2,625 m with a degree of saturation of 0.61 seconds/pcu. Intersection traffic delays are 6.867 seconds/pcu, major road traffic delays are 5.18 seconds/pcu. Minor road traffic delays are 9.21 seconds pcu, intersection geometric delays are 4.39 seconds/pcu, intersection delays are 11.25 seconds/pcu with service level B. Queue opportunities for the lower limit are 15.57% and queue opportunities for The upper limit is 32.73%, still in the stable traffic flow zone. Drivers are limited in choosing their speed
