Abstrak

According to its geographical location, Indonesia is one of the countries whose territory is located in the ring of fire, which is an area with the most active tectonic plate movements on Earth. This geographical condition makes Indonesia vulnerable to natural disasters such as tectonic earthquakes. The consequences of the earthquakes that occur include building damage ranging from light to severe scales, so the calculation of earthquake loads needs to be considered to minimize structural failures through dynamic analysis. The method used in this study is spectrum response analysis using SAP2000 v.22.2.0. This research focuses on the performance analysis of the structure of the BRI Museum building in Purwokerto, which aims to determine the structural performance due to seismic loads in accordance with SNI 1726 – 2019, with the parameters examined being displacement, story drift, and base shear. The research results on the structural integrity of the BRI Museum building in Purwokerto state that it is safe, with the maximum displacement occurring at the stair roof, having a displacement value in the X direction of 38.039 mm and in the Y direction of 42.59 mm. The largest story drift is found on the 5th story, which is the 3rd floor, with a story drift value in the X direction of 55.91 mm and in the Y direction of 60.59 mm, and the dynamic base shear is ≥ 100% of the static base shear, with a VD value in the X direction of 2881.396 kN and a VD value in the Y direction of 2881.396 kN.
