Studi Literatur Hubungan Dukungan Keluarga dengan Kepatuhan Minum Obat pada Pasien Skizofrenia

Mental disorder is a manifestations of behavioral deviations due to emotional distortion, characterized by disturbances in thought processes, behavior and perceptions. This study is aimed to identify research articles that describe the analysis of the relationship between family support and medication adherence in schizophrenic patients. This study uses a literature review method, the data collection of sample articles/journals in this study was carried out by accessing the databases, namely Proquest, and Google Scholer. The research process uses a systematic review study design using the PRISMA flow chart. The first stage is to identify the articles, the second stage is to carry out a screening process or screening in accordance with PICOST, the next is the fulfillment of the requirements/feasibility or egibility, so that the remaining 8 articles are included in the analysis. Several studies that have been reviewed show that most of families provide support to the schizophrenic patients, the support is categorized as supportive, good support and high support. Based on a review of journals regarding the relationship between family support and medication adherence in schizophrenic patients, it was found 8 journals show that the family support given to the schizophrenia patients was good, the support provided was in the form of information, emotional and instrumental. The level of adherence to taking medication or treatment based on all of the journals was found to be categorized as obedient. Then, based on the results of the bivariate analysis, it was also found that all journals had a significant relationship between family support and the level of patient adherence in taking medication.
