Abstract

ABSTRACK

The Banjar City Library is intended as a place for managing information and providing general information services. The library located in Banjar City is a 4-story building and has a height of 17.90 m. A building structure must be planned in accordance with applicable planning principles, so that the impact caused by the earthquake can withstand the planned shocks. This study aims to evaluate the structural performance of the Banjar City Library building. The method used for this study is the pushover analysis method. . According to ATC-40, for calculating the capacity of concrete structural elements, refer to SNI 2847: 2019. Structural analysis is carried out using the SAP2000 application program. After the structural analysis was carried out, the results were obtained based on performance points, For the structural performance at maximum lateral force = 2,499.493 kN at step 5 with a displacement of = -0.003165 m after being analyzed using the ATC-40 method, a drift ratio of = 0.00026143 was obtained. The drift value is included in the category (Immediate Occupancy) which can be seen from the ATC-40 Performance level for the Immediate Occupancy performance level, which is 0.005 or 0.5%. So the structural performance level is Immediate Occupancy. This means that the Banjar City Library building is still strong enough to withstand earthquake loads.
