Abstract

Construction projects are one of the job sectors with a high risk of work-related accidents, potentially resulting in serious consequences. Therefore, a comprehensive and structured Occupational Safety and Health Management System (OSHMS) is needed as a reference for consultants, contractors, and workers to create a safe, healthy, and productive work environment. In response to this, a study was conducted with the aim of evaluating the success level of OSH implementation and identifying the factors affecting the OSH implementation in the Phase II construction project of the Panjalu Health Center. This study employed a quantitative approach through surveys and questionnaires distributed to 25 workers involved in the construction project of the Panjalu Health Center. The data was then processed using a scoring method, and research instrument tests were conducted using SPSS 22, including validity and correlation tests, reliability tests, and normality tests. Based on the results of the study, the overall success of OSH implementation in the Panjalu Health Center construction project reached a score of 82.87%. According to the Indonesian Minister of Manpower Regulation Number: 26/MEN/2014, this falls into the second achievement level, where a score of 60-84% is awarded a certificate and a silver flag. Based on the implementation analysis, the factors affecting OSH implementation include: the company has not maximized the provision of OSH training for every worker; some workers are not yet able to optimally use tools or specialized equipment and complete personal protective equipment (PPE) while working; and there are still workers who disagree with the company providing health insurance for its employees.
