Indonesia is geographically located in the Pacific Ring of Fire, an area where three of the world's major tectonic plates converge: the Indo-Australian, Eurasian, and Pacific plates. This geographical condition renders Indonesia highly susceptible to earthquake risks. Consequently, evaluating the seismic performance of building structures is of paramount importance. Pushover analysis is an effective method for assessing the seismic performance of structures and identifying potential structural weaknesses, thereby providing valuable information for risk mitigation and enhancing building safety.
This study aims to analyze the structural performance of the BPKP Learning Solution Building in Ciawi, Bogor, using the pushover analysis method. The evaluation is conducted based on the Capacity Spectrum Method (CSM) in accordance with ATC-40 regulations and the Displacement Coefficient Method (DCM) as per FEMA 356 and FEMA 440 guidelines, utilizing SAP2000 software.
The results of the pushover analysis indicate that the Learning Solution Building achieves an Immediate Occupancy performance level. This suggests that even when subjected to seismic loading, the structure does not sustain significant damage to its structural components. The building's stiffness and strength remain largely unchanged from pre-earthquake conditions, thus fulfilling the primary principle of earthquake-resistant building design.
