Abstract

The city of Bandung has an active fault known as the Lembang fault or Lembang fault which is located in Lembang sub-district, West Bandung Regency and stretches 29 km through Cimahi City, Bandung City, Jatinangor City to Sumedang Regency, West Java. With the earthquake phenomenon that occurred in Garut Regency, the people of Bandung City must be alert because according to the BMKG the Lembang fault could result in an earthquake measuring 6.8 - 7 magnitude which could cause serious damage. The building structure planning was analyzed using Etabs Version 20 software with the Load Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) method for load factors and resistance factors. The regulations used refer to the regulations SNI 1727-2020, SNI 1729-2020, SNI 1726-2019 and SNI 2847-2019. Based on the results of structural redesign using etabs software and manual calculations based on the output of internal forces generated by the software, the structural elements used are declared qualified and the structure of the building reviewed meets the requirements for structural behavior or structural review for earthquakes.
