Abstract

Unsignalized intersection of three arms case study Jl. Raya Singaparna - Jl. Perikanan Darat Tasikmalaya Regency is an intersection where the regulations do not use signal lights. Intersections are places where various conflicts occur. The performance of an intersection is the main factor in determining the function of the intersection. At this intersection, it often happens that drivers do not comply with the rules so they compete for road space and tend to overtake each other, including the process of getting on and off public transport passengers around the intersection. This condition causes delays in vehicles which results in increased operational costs and vehicle travel time. The aim of this research is to determine capacity, degree of saturation, delays, queuing opportunities, and level of service at intersections. The method used in this research is a survey method, namely making direct observations at the research location to obtain data as a reference for conducting analysis, and using the 2023 Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI). Based on the analysis results, it is known that the busiest traffic volume value will occur on Monday 26 July 2024 at 06.30-07.30 WIB. Amounting to (Q) 2233 pcu/hour with a capacity of (C) 2655 pcu/hour, which means that the capacity of the intersection results in delays in traffic flow or the level of service at the intersection decreases. So we get (DJ) 0.84 seconds/pcu intersection delay (T) 14.19 seconds/pcu, so the level of service at the Kudang unsignaled three intersection is classified as Good (B).
