MENGHITUNG BIAYA OPERASI DAN PEMELIHARAAN JARINGAN AIR BAKU

(Studi Kasus Air Baku Curug Gebang Kabupaten Ciamis)

Abstract

Water is a fundamental element of life that is inseparable from all living beings. For instance, more than 70% of the human body is composed of water. Consequently, it can be directly concluded that water is a basic element supporting life. The rapid growth of population and industry, particularly in Java, has disrupted the balance between water availability and demand. On one hand, water availability from sources is decreasing due to changes or disturbances in catchment areas; on the other hand, the demand for water continues to rise across various sectors (agriculture, industry, housing, urban flushing, etc.).

The purpose of this study is to determine the Performance Value of the Curug Gebang Raw Water Network in Karyamulya Village, Cisaga District, Ciamis Regency, and to evaluate the Performance Value in relation to the Operation and Maintenance costs of the network. Based on the research results, the performance value was found to be 58.45 (Corrective Maintenance, Poor Performance, and Requires Attention). With a performance value of 58.45—categorized as "Poor and Requires Attention"—interventions such as operational management, routine maintenance, and periodic maintenance involving repairs are necessary (damage level: > 20%–40%). From the calculations, the estimated cost for the Operation & Maintenance of Curug Gebang Raw Water in Ciamis Regency is Rp115,651,000.00. This value is subject to change annually, depending on the condition of the structures and the increase in material prices.
