Abstract

Infrastructure development has become a priority to drive economic growth and equitable development, but the realization of construction projects often faces various challenges, such as extreme weather, technical constraints, and limited resources. This research aims to analyze the time performance of the Retaining Wall construction project in Pamarican District, Ciamis Regency, using the Earned Value Analysis method as an integrated approach to evaluate scope, schedule, and cost.

The analysis shows that the project experienced significant delays in the first week and consecutively from the 8th to the 20th week, indicated by a negative Schedule Variance and a Schedule Performance Index below 1. However, an acceleration period from the 2nd to the 7th week successfully offset these deviations, allowing the project to be completed on time in the 21st week as targeted.

These findings emphasize the importance of using Earned Value Analysis to objectively and responsively monitor project performance in response to on-site dynamics. They also demonstrate that the acceleration strategy implemented by the project team proved effective in overcoming delays and ensuring the project's objectives were achieved.
