Abstrak

It is important to know that in a project there is always cost and time control, it is generally called project management. Project management is everything related to planning, implementation, control and coordination in a project from the start of a project until the end of the project period to ensure all implementation of the project runs on time and with the right quality. The purpose of this study is to determine time control using the Earned Value Management method in the North Ring Road Development project in Tasikmalaya City. This earned value method can integrate time in controlling a construction project and is one of the performance indicators. The concept of earned value management (EVM) is to compare costs with schedules in the realization that occurs in the field. The three parameters used in this EVM method that are used as analysis are: BCWS (Budget Cost of Work Scheduled), BCWP (Budget Cost of Work Performed) and ACWP (Actual Cost of Work Performed). Delays and deviations in the project can be identified by looking at the values of CV (Cost Variance) and SV (Schedule Variance). This method can also be used to determine the efficiency of resource use in the form of a cost performance index (CPI) and a schedule performance index (SPI) and can determine the estimated total project cost (EAC). This study shows that the Earned Value Management (EVM) method can control time and costs in the Tasikmalaya North Ring Road Construction project, this is indicated by the performance index value (CPI) = 1 which indicates that the cost is quite good, this is because the costs incurred AC (Actual Cost) is the same as the value obtained EV (Earned Value). And the schedule/time performance index SPI obtained an average value of SPI> 1 which indicates that the schedule performance is very good so that the work can be completed as expected because it is able to achieve the planned work target.
