Abstrak

The Cibiru Roundabout is located in Bandung, connecting Jalan Cinunuk, Jalan A.H. Nasution, and Jalan Soekarno-Hatta. Visual observations revealed that traffic from both the north and south passing through the Cibiru roundabout is quite dense, resulting in vehicle collisions that could endanger road users.The purpose of this study was to determine the capacity and delays at the Cibiru roundabout in Bandung City, as well as its performance. The method used in this study was a survey method, namely direct observation in the field to obtain data as a reference for the analysis. The data sources used in this study were primary and secondary data. The results of the study show that the capacity of the Cibiru Roundabout in Bandung City is seen from each route, namely route AB (Jl. Cibiru – Jl. Soekarno Hatta) of 5914.26 smp/hour, route BC (Jl. Soekarno Hatta – Jl. A.H. Nasution) of 3360.55 smp/hour and route CA (Jl. A.H. Nasution - Jl. Cibiru) of 5748.54 smp/hour. Traffic delays on the AB route (Jl. Cibiru – Jl. Soekarno Hatta) are 3.51 sec/smp, the BC route (Jl. Soekarno Hatta – Jl. A.H. Nasution) is 6.17 sec/smp and the CA route (Jl. A.H. Nasution - Jl. Cibiru) is 3.19 sec/smp. The roundabout traffic delay is 4.44 sec/smp and the roundabout delay is 8.44 sec/smp. The performance of the Cibiru Roundabout in Bandung City is at level B, the roundabout delay is 8.44 sec/smp (the delay value ranges from 5.1-15).
