Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration by another journal.
  • The file is in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.
  • The text is formatted with Palatino Linotype 12 pt, 1.15 spacing, margins: left 3 cm; right, top 2.25 cm, bottom 2.5 cm, length 12–15 pages (A4).
  • The manuscript follows the journal article structure: Title, Author & Affiliation, Abstract (English), Keywords, Introduction, Method, Results & Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
  • References follow APA Style, with a minimum of 10 primary sources (published within the last 10 years).
  • The manuscript is free from plagiarism (maximum 20%).
  • Tables, figures, and illustrations are properly numbered, titled, and cited in the text.

Author Guidelines

JAMASAN: Journal of History Education Students

  1. Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and within the scope of History Education or relevant historical studies.

  2. Article structure: Title, Author & Affiliation, Abstract (in English, 150–200 words), Keywords (3–5), Introduction, Method, Results & Discussion, Conclusion, References.

  3. Writing format: Microsoft Word, Palatino Linotype 12 pt, 1.15 spacing, margins (left 3 cm; right, top 2,25, bottom 2.5 cm), length 12–15 pages (A4).

  4. Tables & figures must be numbered consecutively, given clear titles, and cited in the text.

  5. References follow APA style, primarily from recent (last 10 years) and reputable sources, with a minimum of 10 references.

  6. Publication ethics: Manuscripts with more than 20% plagiarism will not be accepted. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.

Kebijakan Bagian – JAMASAN: Jurnal Mahasiswa Pendidikan Sejarah

1. Artikel Penelitian
Bagian ini mencakup hasil penelitian orisinal dalam bidang pendidikan sejarah, historiografi, dan kajian sejarah yang relevan dengan ruang lingkup jurnal. Artikel harus mengikuti metode penelitian yang valid, baik secara kualitatif maupun kuantitatif, serta menyertakan referensi yang relevan.

2. Kajian Teoritis dan Literatur
Bagian ini berisi analisis kritis terhadap teori-teori sejarah dan pendidikan sejarah. Artikel di bagian ini dapat mencakup tinjauan pustaka sistematis, analisis konseptual, serta kajian historiografi yang memberikan kontribusi terhadap perkembangan ilmu sejarah dan pendidikan sejarah.

3. Artikel Konseptual
Berisi gagasan, pemikiran, atau usulan baru yang berkaitan dengan pendidikan sejarah, metodologi pengajaran sejarah, atau interpretasi sejarah berdasarkan perspektif baru. Artikel ini dapat berupa refleksi akademik yang didukung oleh literatur yang relevan.

4. Ulasan Buku
Bagian ini memuat resensi atau ulasan kritis terhadap buku-buku terbaru yang berkaitan dengan sejarah dan pendidikan sejarah. Ulasan harus mencakup ringkasan isi buku, analisis kelebihan dan kekurangan, serta relevansi buku tersebut terhadap studi sejarah.

5. Laporan Kegiatan Akademik
Bagian ini mencakup laporan kegiatan seminar, lokakarya, atau konferensi yang berkaitan dengan sejarah dan pendidikan sejarah. Artikel harus memuat ringkasan kegiatan, pembicara utama, topik yang dibahas, serta implikasi akademik dari kegiatan tersebut.

Semua artikel yang masuk ke JAMASAN: Jurnal Mahasiswa Pendidikan Sejarah akan melalui proses peer review sebelum diterbitkan untuk memastikan kualitas akademik dan kontribusinya terhadap bidang pendidikan sejarah.
