Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The manuscript is original, has not been previously published, and is not under consideration by another journal.
  • The file is in Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx) format.
  • The text is formatted with Palatino Linotype 12 pt, 1.15 spacing, margins: left 3 cm; right, top 2.25 cm, bottom 2.5 cm, length 12–15 pages (A4).
  • The manuscript follows the journal article structure: Title, Author & Affiliation, Abstract (English), Keywords, Introduction, Method, Results & Discussion, Conclusion, and References.
  • References follow APA Style, with a minimum of 10 primary sources (published within the last 10 years).
  • The manuscript is free from plagiarism (maximum 20%).
  • Tables, figures, and illustrations are properly numbered, titled, and cited in the text.

Author Guidelines

JAMASAN: Journal of History Education Students

  1. Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and within the scope of History Education or relevant historical studies.

  2. Article structure: Title, Author & Affiliation, Abstract (in English, 150–200 words), Keywords (3–5), Introduction, Method, Results & Discussion, Conclusion, References.

  3. Writing format: Microsoft Word, Palatino Linotype 12 pt, 1.15 spacing, margins (left 3 cm; right, top 2,25, bottom 2.5 cm), length 12–15 pages (A4).

  4. Tables & figures must be numbered consecutively, given clear titles, and cited in the text.

  5. References follow APA style, primarily from recent (last 10 years) and reputable sources, with a minimum of 10 references.

  6. Publication ethics: Manuscripts with more than 20% plagiarism will not be accepted. All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process.
